Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Tamica Nicole discovered a natural talent in writing at a young age—comprehending this to be her greatest form of expression. Blank pages soon became a canvas she loved to paint pretty pictures on with words
alone. Those who personally know her may be quite accustomed to the more comedic side, but when it comes to writing, she operates on a totally different frequency. She’s currently an author of mystery/psychological thrillers, sci-fi, poetry and musings— including her short story miniseries; ‘London Bridges’ and ‘Safe House’, as well as her upcoming short story collection debut. Each story will leave readers thirsting for more but fret not! Every twist and turn will lead to novels, visuals, and screenplays on her literary path.

 

When not writing, one can find her in small coffee shops around the city, no doubt allowing the smell of those fresh beans to get the creative juices flowing. There’s no pop-up, art show or festival in town or out she’s not willing to attend. She also concentrates on growing her small business (Blossom), where she and her business partners have established a platform to promote wellness and deliver a safe space for the community to live, love and vibe. On this venture she’s found joy in meeting new people—rubbing shoulders with fellow artists and entrepreneurs— exchanging the necessary energy it takes to spark creativity and growth. This platform also serves as a way to spread awareness on rare diseases, such as TTP (Thrombotic Thrombocytopenic Purpura), which she is a proud survivor of!
 

Life can get hectic and often traumatic, but writing is a therapeutic form of healing —a way to quiet the surrounding noise and chaos. In hopes of reaching readers near and far, Tamica Nicole will follow her literary path for years to come and thereafter, her words will live on!
